A collection of my acheivements and activities outside of the classroom during my time at Clemson University
French Professional Society
During all four years at Clemson, I was an active member of the FPS, attending monthly meetings with LAIB alumni and local French companies. Spring of 2022, I filled the role of Vice President, and Fall of 2022, I filled the role of Co-President. In these leadership roles, I led monthly meetings, coordinated with guest speakers, and communicated with club members regarding events.
Chi Omega Fraternity
As a member of the Psi Kappa chapter of the Chi Omega Fraternity, every semester I helped take part in fundraising and event organizing in order to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation, including planning and running basketball competitions (Swishes for Wishes), and wing eating competitions (Wings for Wishes).
Diploma in French Professional Business
This exam was taken in the Spring of 2021 (my freshman year), after the Completion of the course French for International Business 1. Given by the French Department of Commerce in Paris, this exam states that I have reached B2 level of French, particularly regarding professional aspects of the language like vocabulary, and interpreting/creating business documents.
Miscellaneous French Projects
During my senior year in the Fall, I also took on various tasks requested of me by previous French professors. This included tutoring various lower-level French students on a weekly basis, and transcribing French literary texts into Word documents.
